• A key component of the World's Best Work Force (WBWF) Plan is to reduce the achievement gap for students in ISD 318. Supporting WBWF is the district's Achievement and Integration (A&I) Plan. 

    The instructional mission of ISD 318 is to support the growth of the whole child by providing a guaranteed and viable curriculum. The purpose of the Achievement and Integration (A&I) for Minnesota program is to pursue racial and economic integration, increase student achievement, create equitable educational opportunities, and reduce academic disparities based on students' diverse racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds in Minnesota public schools.     Independent School District 318’s Achievement and Integration Plan fulfills the requirements of MN Statute 124D.861 and 124D.862 by developing a plan to close the achievement and opportunity gap using revenue specific to Achievement and Integration.

    ISD 318 is considered to be an Adjoining district, with Deer River Independent Schools as the Racially Isolated district.

    A public meeting was held on December 5, 2022, to present the 2021-2022 Achievement and Integration Plan and World's Best Workforce Summary Report.
