School-Age Care

School-age care is provided by the district for children of critical workers is intended for extreme circumstances in which no parent or guardian is at home, due to employment as a critical worker. To see a list of occupations defined as Tier 1 Critical Workers, please view the document at right.
Care is provided Monday through Friday on scheduled school days from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Murphy Elementary School. Transportation will be provided and drop-off on-site begins at 7:40 am.
The school-age care will follow the district's remote learning model. All students should bring their iPad and school work for the day. Supervising staff will assist children in learning during the day. Recipients of school-age care must be enrolled in ISD 318, Kindergarten through 12 years old. There is no cost to school-age care for critical workers during the time the children are not receiving instruction in our schools during regular school hours.
On the first day of care the following documentation is required:
- Employment Verification (letter signed by employer)
- Calendar of need
