• About Us

At Grand Rapids High School we believe that all students can learn. It is our job to create an environment in our classrooms which results in a high level of performance. We are confident that with support and help, students can master challenging academic material, and we expect them to do so. We are prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, parents, and the community to achieve this shared educational purpose.

Grand Rapids High School is nestled in Minnesota's northwoods, a centerpiece of Itasca County's largest city and seat of government-- Grand Rapids. The city serves as a gateway to the Mississippi River, is home to a thousand nearby lakes, is the setting of diverse outdoor pursuits and numerous cultural attractions, and features a vibrant business community. Home to more than 1,200 students, few institutions of learning rival the academic, athletic, and fine arts opportunities available to the students of Grand Rapids High School, and all while maintaining an unmatched sense of community and personal attention. We encourage you to explore our site, our school, and our community. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions.
