    I am proud to be the principal of such a caring, successful school. East Rapids Elementary School provides a safe environment with high-quality instruction and high expectations, where students experience meaningful learning each day.

    East Rapids Elementary is a learning environment where everyone strives to be responsible, respectful, safe and kind. "The Thunderhawk Way" is being responsible, respectful, safe and kind. Students continue to demonstrate this in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, on the playground, and while on the bus.

    The outstanding and caring staff at East work collaboratively to enhance each student's educational experience. Each staff member brings a special set of skills that makes our school a great place to learn. Providing a positive school climate, staff members build relationships with students and their families. We are proud of our school and the strong work we do with children every day.
