Important 2026-2027 Dates

  • Friday, August 14 | East, West, Cohasset, RJEMS, GRHS, & Bigfork Schools 
    • Grades 1-12 | Class placements & schedules available on Campus Parent Portal.
    • Kindergarten | Class placements announced the first week of school using Campus Parent Portal.  
  • Monday, August 17 | Fall High School Sports Begin - Click here to Register
  • Starting Monday, August 17
    • Grand Rapids High School counselor’s office open Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm.
  • Thursday, August 20 l 10:00am-2:00pm 
    • Robert J. Elkington Middle School student-led school tours for new students.
  • Monday, August 24 | GRHS Student Lead Tours | 12:00pm-2:00pm
  • Wednesday, August 26 l School Open House
    • 3:00pm-5:00pm  Robert J. Elkington Middle School
  • Thursday, August 27 l School Open House
    • 3:30pm-5:00pm  Bigfork School
    • 3:00pm-5:00pm  Cohasset, East Rapids & West Rapids Elementary Schools
  • Tuesday, September 1 First Day of School
    • Cohasset, East, West, RJEMS, GRHS Grades K-9, also any new 10-12 graders 
    • Bigfork School Grades K-12
    • West & Cohasset Kindergarten students will attend one full day (T or W) the first week of school. Teacher placements will occur that week. On Thursday, all K students are welcome to attend an Open House from 12pm-1:30pm. Look for a notification from your child's school for more information.
