Report Cards and Grading

Your child's report card reflects their progress academically and their mastery of a subject area. If you have questions regarding your student's report card, please reach out to their teacher directly.

At the elementary level, we use Standards Based Grading (SBG). The reason we use we SBG in grades K-5 is that it focuses on guiding instruction versus showing how much work a student completed.

SBG is different than the traditional ABC grading. The Report Card Grading Key, can be found on page two of your child's report card and is detailed below for easy access.
