Foundations of Ojibwe Education    A Project-Based Elective Course

Juniors and Seniors at the Grand Rapids area schools have the opportunity to participate in our project-based elective course. Students can earn credit towards graduation while learning about Ojibwe culture and completing cultural projects!

Three core components of our elective course:

  • Students will create projects of their choice and interest
  • Students will complete 70 hours of cultural learning
  • Students will participate in cross-generational learning by teaching our youngest students about wild rice and maple syrup
