    GREEN TEAM FACTS: The highest pont in Ohio is “Mount Rumpke”, which is actually a mountain of trash at the Rumpke sanitary landfill.

    Green team will meet each Wed. at 7:45 in Mrs. Jasper’s room 1494. Everyone is welcomed!

    Juniors and Seniors may apply to be one of 30 Minnesota students to win a free week-long trip to Washington D.C. courtesy of Lake Country Power. The
    dates of the tour are June 14th - June 19th 2008. Applications are available in

    It's time to recycle those old cell phones! Bring them to Ms. Hall's room, #3155. They can be any brand; they don't have to work but must be intact. Please, no chargers or anything other than the cell phone itself. They will be recycled by Motorola; the IB History and Theory of Knowledge seniors will use the funds for a worthy cause.THANK YOU!

    Seniors: uncertain about college, career plans, financial aid, or how to find a job? Get a pass and stop into the Career Center during hours 5-7 for help.
    Those with senior 7 are permitted to visit the Career Center with a pass.

    COLLEGE WORD OF THE WEEK:
    Class Rank: Ranking of a student within a high school graduating class based upon his or her high school grade point average.

    GRHS Key Club is working with Second Harvest Food Bank again this year to sponsor the Gingerbread“Giving” Tree. Pick a gingerbread boy or girl from the Christmas tree in the front office, bring in a new unwrapped gift for that child and return it to the tree by Thursday, Dec. 13. Help make the holiday season brighter for others!!

    Congratulations to the FFA Activities Day plaque winning teams: Wildlife 1st -Paul Butler, Luke Railson, Colt Anderson & Jessica Loucks; Forestry 2nd-Lyle Unger, Ethan Karppinen, Josh Howg & Cody Kasper; Floriculture 2nd-Jen Libbey & Violet Casey; Hippology 2nd-Abby Rukavina, Danielle Heikkila & Allen Hafeman.

    Congratulations to the FFA who earned $1500 in scholarships at UMC. Paul Butler- 2nd Ind. in Wildlife $600, Luke Railson 3rd Ind. in Wildlife $450 and Abby Rukavina 3rd in Hippology $450.

    Seniors are strongly encouraged to submit all applications for 4 year colleges as soon as possible. Many schools have a Dec. 15th priority date.

    Girls hockey will be excused at 12:10 on Fri., Dec. 14th.
