Southwest Elementary School is located in the southwest quadrant of Grand Rapids off the Golf Course Road on the way toward the hospital. We are one of three elementary schools in Grand Rapids. We have 371 students for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students are assigned to buildings based upon the area where you live. Parent involvement in our school is a critical factor to our success. Our building does not qualify for Title I services - which is a federally funded program to support reading and math skill development. This makes parent support a crucial component for everyone.
