Cohasset School is located in the town of Cohasset just 4 miles west of Grand Rapids, MN. Cohasset is the second largest city in Itasca County in population, but the largest in area. The name comes from a Native American word meaning "city of pines". The city limits of Cohasset include all or part of nine lakes and two large backwaters of the Mississippi River. Our elementary school is part of the Grand Rapids Independent School District #318 and since we are a rural school, over 95% of our students are bussed. We are a two section school with grades K-5 and maintain an enrollment of about 343 students.
