The referendum is scheduled for April 10, 2018. Local residents will vote on whether to approve funding for the School Board’s facilities plan. Polls will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. A list of polling places is available under the button on your left.

Absentee voting begins on February 23, 2018. Applications for absentee voting will be available during normal business hours at the Itasca County Courthouse on 123 NE 4th St, Grand Rapids. There, you can request, fill out, and cast an absentee ballot. If you are unable physically to be at the polls on April 10 or to travel to the Itasca County Courthouse for early absentee voting, you may obtain an absentee ballot yourself instead.

For added convenience, the County Office will be open Saturday, April 7th from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm for absentee voting.

April 9th is the last day
to absentee vote at the county office. The office will be open until 5:00 pm.

April 9th is also the last day the county will accept applications for absentee ballots. Individuals need to pay close attention to these deadlines. Ample time should be allowed for the mailing of the absentee voting documents.
