Grand Rapids Area Learning Center
The Grand Rapids Area
Learning Center (GRALC) is an alternative program for at-risk
students to earn credits to receive their high school diploma. The
GRALC is an independent study program which requires students to be
self motivated and have regular weekly attendance. Credit is
achieved by earning "hours" through homework and attendance. In
order to register, students must fit the state criteria and have
either have been out of school 16 consecutive days or get a referral
from their current high school.
